Episode 63 - Swiss Army Man

'Tis the season for the coming together of friends and family, the lifting of spirits, and the talking about of movies. 'Tis a special film we watched, wherein a bedraggled Paul Dano learns to share his life with a bloated and decaying Daniel Radcliffe. And yes, Mary Elizabeth Winstead was there too. This holiday season, we'd like to invite you to watch Swiss Army Man, and listen to us reminisce about times gone by when we did the same. Logan and Matt will be there, with little Dylan by the fire, playing with his brand new microphone. We do so hope that you will join us.

Episode 60 - Event Horizon

Happy Halloween, everybody! Every... (dramatic pause) ...DEAD BODY!!! Evil laugh, lightning, thunder, creaky door sound. That's right, it's that time again. When we dust off the sound effects machine, realize it doesn't work anymore, and haul it off to the spooky mansion down the street to try to sell it to the spooky hoarder who lives there. While we were waiting for him to count and roll thousands of nickels, we went ahead and recorded an episode of the podcast. We pretty much talked about Event Horizon. Apologies if any spooky noises made it onto the recording.

Episode 59 - Meek's Cutoff

Join us on an auditory journey along the Oregon Trail! Along the way, we'll talk about a movie we watched called Meek's Cutoff, have our clothes stolen, and try to mutiny Logan. Episode 55 - Big Trouble in Little China

Big Trouble in Little China! John Carpenter directed it and we talked about it! So allow us to regale you with tales of the adventures of Jack Burton, the first podcaster, and an orange ape monster! I hope I used that comma correctly so it doesn't seem like I'm calling Kurt Russell an orange ape monster! Matt does a game or something and Dylan still can't stop talking about Abduction! It's all the in the reflexes!!!

Episode 54 - Odd Thomas

_{We talked about Odd Thomas as a sort of elegy for Anton Yelchin. Logan tries to steer us away from getting too sad, which is weird since he picked this movie, presumably in an attempt to make us very sad. This episode is being posted in the wake of Hurricane Hermine, so you know at least one of us survived, but since it was recorded a while back, you'll have to keep listening for another month or so to find out which one(s)! Kevin praises this as one of Yelchin's finest performances, Dylan apparently just discovered cold brew coffee, and Matt says something really smart and funny at the beginning of the show, but everybody else pretends it's not that great because they're jealous. Goodbye, Anton Yelchin. We all liked you.}

Episode 53 - Abduction

He finally did it. Dylan made us watch Abduction. And edited his first episode. One of those things turned out okay. Matt allegedly obtained the original screenplay that ignited a bidding war so he could talk about what the studio changed and also debunk the myth that the screenplay was good. Kevin thinks this is a parody movie, Dylan tells you when Taylor Lautner takes his shirt off, and has a great idea for those who wants to cause our country harm. TL;DR Logan sums up the movie in the first five seconds.

Episode 52 - Following

We talked about Christopher Nolan's first film, Following! It was the same length as this episode. But we also talked about all his other movies, too, sort of. And other stuff. 10 Cloverfield Lane, I think was one. All this plus it's a mystery episode or something! Can you figure what's going on??? I think it's some kind of mystery!!

Episode 51 - The Day After

WARNING: By listening to this episode, you may find yourself moved to sign nuclear disarmament treaties, and you'll definitely find out the name of Tony the Tiger's wife. Actually, we tell you that last part right away, so if that's all you want, you could just listen to the beginning and then shut it off. But don't! Listen more! Unless you don't care whether or not the world is destroyed. If that's really how you feel, then fine. Don't listen. Maybe we don't even want you to listen, then. In that case. Unbelievable.

Episode 50 - Green Room

It's the 50th episode! So we take it back to our Jeremy Saulnier-y roots and talk about Green Room. Logan and Matt may or may not be wearing nice suits. I can't tell. Dylan pops in later to weigh in on the film and trick us into talking about X-Men. Then we have one of the least substantive discussions of video games ever! All this, plus Kevin brought some nice relaxing crickets and a bunch of special robot sounds to commemorate all the weird noises that we've had on the podcast. Obviously, that was a cool choice, not an idiot ruining an episode with bad sound. NPFO!
